Curt’s acting credits include hosting SyFy’s suspenseful game show Exit.He has also hosted America’s Lost Treasures on the National Geographic Channel, Hazard Pay on Discovery Channel, where he experienced everything from being a UFC fighter to a venomous snake extractor. Most recently. Curt’s other TV appearances include shows like CSI: Miami, Touched by an Angel, NCIS: Navy Criminal Investigative Service, Phil of the Future and Everwood, as well as the Disney Channel telefilm Go Figure.
Despite his extensive musical abilities, Curt chose to begin an acting career in 1990. He started out as a performer at the Hale Center Theater, appearing in over 70 productions in Orem and Salt Lake City, UT. He has studied acting with Ivana Chubbuck and Margie Hayber in addition to practicing improv with Harvey Lembeck and at iO West.
Film acting credits include The R.M., Saints and Soliders (nominated for two Independent Spirit Awards), Saints and Soldiers: Airborne Creed, Church Ball opposite Fred Willard and Clint Howard, and Adventures of Food Boy opposite Lucas Gabreel.
As a public speaker, Curt has hosted events from New York to Los Angeles and for companies like Microsoft, Ceritpoint, NuSkin and Usana. He is also a small business owner, having owned and operated the ComedySportz Utah franchise in Provo for the past 15 years.
In his spare time, Curt travels to Europe on his own to track down the origins of some of the world’s most secret societies—the Rosicrucians in Germany, the Order of the Rose in France, even Rosslyn Chapel in Scotland. He makes these trips several times a year, and Curt’s most recent project will find him in the south of France tracking down the origins of the Knights Templar and searching for the tomb of Mary Magdalene deep in the Langeudoc mountains.
